Fact or Fiction: what is the difference between "going white" and "going grey"?
The truth is, the majority of people will one day see white in their hair; the amount of color loss, when it starts and how rapid one goes white is dependent on a variety of factors such as heredity, health and stress issues.
When you start seeing sprigs of grey in your hair,
pigment cells in the follicle are still producing color, but they become less active. As less pigment is
deposited into the hair shaft, the result is lighter looking hair (adding a little salt to your pepper!) As more grey appears, these pigment producing cells die and/or cease pigment production, resulting in more grey hair, eventually to the point in which it can turn "snow white", or a complete lack of pigment in the hair.

Before and After: Permanent color on 100% white hair
I have been working with Suzan and her changing style for almost 10 years. We have seen her wear every color from platinum blonde to dark violet with Hot Red color accents.
